By holding down one of the trigger buttons, you can pull up a special moves list and can perform one of 4 special moves.

You have a light attack, a heavy attack, and a ki attack, and pressing the attack buttons in different orders will allow you to pull off new combos. The gameplay is somewhat similar to the Budokai Tenkaichi games, but with a much simpler fighting engine.
